Mario Bros. Plushy

I made this little guy for my husbands nephew. He is a huge fan so I had to make it! I am working on Luigi to finish the set. The Pattern was from the blog, WolfDreamer Off the Hook. Linda Potts makes amazing patterns!

Baby Boy Cardigan and Hat

The hat is a pattern called gnome hat. I added the little fuzzy on top to finish it off. The cardigan is a knit top down raglan. This took a weekend to make ;).

HoneyComb Baby Blanket

This is a honeycomb pattern blanket for a baby boy due in December. The yarn is Bernat Baby Coordinates on a size 9 Circular. I loved the feel of the yarn. The pattern called for a knit border but instead of stressing over trying to pick up all of those stitches I used a double crochet border instead. I liked the way it came out :).

AJ's Baby Blanket

This was a one of a kind blanket! :) I couldn't figure out what to make with the yarn purchased so I improvised. I really like the outcome. The letters are bobbles. I like the way the colors are soothing.

Amanda's baby layette set

I made this layette set for my friend Amanda's first baby girl. The pattern is called pretty feathers and fans from leisure arts, Our best knit afghans. I used a velvet ribbon to complement the baby coordinates yarn. I love the feel of this yarn so soft and cuddly. the buttons are little pink roses. I wish I would have gotten a close up of them ;). I might use them again on the next baby girl project in the works ;).

Blanket for My Cousin Johnny's soon to be new addition!

So I received a call about a baby shower on Wednesday..and got this whipped out by Friday! I always love a challenge! I know I am a little obsessed. I just love yarn...*sigh*.... Well, This was crocheted with Vanna's Baby Choice Yarn. I also used a little bit of Hobby Lobby's "I love this Yarn!". The blanket was well received and hopefully will be well loved :).

Andrew's Blue Mushroom and Block

My DS's new Mario Toys! He was so happy to have these little novelties. Practicing my Amigurumi!

Jaz's Strawberry Top

I made this top for my beautiful Goddaughter Jaz. She had a strawberry themed birthday party so she needed a strawberry top :). This was made with Knitpicks Shine Sport Cotton yarn. Very soft and washable yarn. It was so quick to knit up and everyone wanted one! The shirt is a halter top with ribbon tied at the back.

Lilybug's Circle Socks

These are Circle Socks I made for my DD aka "The Princess". She wanted some new socks since the ones that I previously made her are too small. I love making her socks because she loves receiving them! This is such a great yarn to work with. It is Patons Stretch Socks Yarn. It is so soft and stretchy;0).

My Intro

I have been contemplating a blog for some time now. I guess it is never too easy to figure out how to put your thoughts into words. I have never been one to organize my thoughts enough to sound eloquent and smooth. I am your average writer, with a little clumsy mistakes here and there. I will try to write as organized as possible. If I should sound incoherent from time to time, please forgive me. It may be that I am just putting to good use all of the vocabulary lessons my toddler Adam gives me on a daily basis. Then there could be the juggling act called parenting thats seems to attack the part of the brain that deals with sanity. Also, I could blame the ADD that takes over from time to time! Okay, I may not have been diagnosed with ADD but hell, three kids; ages 1, 5, 8. Two are boys I might add, working full time and somehow I have passion to excersize, knit, crochet, bake and do this blog. Okay, maybe ADHD...... Well, what ever I have, I won't change my life for one second. I l...
